This is the main page. You can find the Health & Social Services Ombudsman for your county above or on the map.

There are some options at the top of the page. When you click on ABOUT THE HEALTH & SOCIAL SERVICES OMBUDSMAN, you can read more about us. If you select ANNUAL REPORTS, you will find national reports. If you would like to see reports from the Ombudsmen i individual counties, first select the county and then ANNUAL REPORTS. All the reports are in Norwegian language.

On the page for INFORMATION MATERIAL you can download brochures in English, both forms of Norwegian and Sami. Under LINKS you will find important health bodies and agencies in Norway, and by selecting LAWS you van find laws, regulations and circulars for health and social services.

The stories related under EXAMPLES OF ENQUIRIES TO THE OMBUDSMAN have been given after anonymising and camouflaging changes have been made.
